CILICIA, Aegeae. Hadrian, with Sabina. AD 117-138. AR Tridrachm (25.5mm, 9.12 g, 6h). Dated CY 177 (AD 130/1). Laureate bust right of Hadrian, slight drapery / Draped bust of Sabina right, wearing stephane with hair in elaborate coiffure; below bust, goat kneeling left with head right; ZOP (date) in legend. Prieur –; SNG Levante –; SNG BN –; RPC III 3351/5 (this coin cited). Good Fine, lightly toned, some roughness. Well struck reverse. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, two on CoinArchives, and six, including this coin, cited by the authors of RPC.
